All the deets behind the new ReRoll Family Community Memberships

A few weeks ago we launched our new ReRoll Works Family Memberships, but I wanted to take the change to explain the benefits and decisions in a little more detail.

ReRoll Family Members get great new benefits and keep most of the previous benefits for €15/month. There will be no change in charges for existing members for at least the first 12 months of their memberships.

All members get the following benefits:

• Free Store Event tickets
• Discounts
• Family Room Forum
• & More to come in the future

Unlimited access to the store

The whole idea behind the opening our own venue was to bring our community together and give you all a safe space to enjoy. Hosting ticketed events has helped us to build a large and varied group of people, but there's a lot more potential in the space we have.

We're now fully opening our doors to our members to come and enjoy the space, the gaming library, miniatures, paints & materials (while supplies last), consoles and gaming accessories.

This is possible at any time the store is open and as long as you're inside by 19:00, you'll have until at least 20:00 to finish up your game (often longer if we're available to).

You're welcome to bring along non-member friends to play too for €6/day.

The only exceptions are during our closed events such as the TTRPG Tuesdays, FLINTA Fridays & our FetLife events, for which the space is reserved for those with tickets for those events.

Free Store Event tickets

All members also get free tickets to all of our events in the store. This is applied automatically in the webshop when you go to the checkout.

Please do still purchase your tickets even if they're free. This helps us to understand demand and plan for the right attendance, although last minute & walk-ins are possible at pretty much all our store events.

There's currently only 1 exception to the patten: TTRPG Tuesday tickets go down to €1 for members. This provides a small budget to purchase RPG books and accessories. Tickets for this event are required as walk-ins on the night are not possible.

Discounts

Unchanged from our previous membership scheme, all members receive a 10% discount on all ReRoll Works products (Gay Sauna, The Dick Sits, Soggy Biscuit, Merch & Accessories) as well as a 5% discount on all other games and accessories (excluding consumables).

Family Room Forum

We have a new Ramily Room forum that members get access to. When logged in to your account at ReRollWorks.com, you should see a link in the menu called Family Room - or from here: https://rerollworks.com/community/my/reroll-family

This is not a replacement for the WhatsApp Community, but is a (non-Meta owned) place where members can discuss important topics, schedule gaming sessions, book the venue and make plans for the future!

The idea is to grow with our members. With your input and using the power of our community to shape the way forwards.

As things progress we'll be using our resources to improve the space and benefits for members, shaping the way forwards based on the needs of the people actually using the space.

Becoming a member gives you the chance to have your say and help to make this what you want to see!

What members are losing

In this change there are 2 things we're no longer providing for our members.

Members will no longer get a free drink for events (unless they purchased a full-priced ticket). We hope this one makes sense to everyone given tickets are free.

Members also no longer get access to PRIK tickets a day early. This was a popular option for folks with the first memberships, but as we grow out our member base, we already foresee that we'll just be in the same situation with not enough tickets but with a smaller group of people and this will lock out all non-members, no matter how long they've been part of this community.

Instead, we'll be moving to a more frequent 2-week ticket release cycle on Mondays at 18:00. Every 2 weeks we'll put 2 new tickets online for upcoming events (the exact upfront duration t.b.d). We're hoping this helps to give more people a chance to get tickets and also reduce the number of no-shows that prevent others from enjoying our events.

As always, we'll keep a close eye and ear on this and make any changes as needed to ensure we're best serving our community, so please shout if you have concerns and/or suggestions!

Elders do get a free custom 3D printed nametag, but for the time being, this €30/month tier is mostly to give folks a chance to offer additional support out of the kindness of their hearts. We'll find a great way to thank and honour our Elders soon!
