Category: Card Games – various
Not all games have a big board and take hours to play. We’ve got a great small (but growing) collection of fantastic card games that can be played with 2+ players.
These card gaming sessions will take a slightly different format to the regular scheduled tables – once the group is seated, we’ll discuss with all the players and pick a game to play. A ReRoll Works gaymer will host the table and introduce all players to each game.
Once you’ve found a winner, you can play again or pick another game. The session is up to 90 mins, so there’s lots of opportunities to get stuck in and win a game or two!
Games on the list:
Imagine if you could embody a hero character with the power to challenge or otherwise embarrass your friends. But be careful, for those same friends wield powerful item cards that threaten to change the game at any moment!
Build a Unicorn Army. Betray your friends. Unicorns are your friends now.
Unstable Unicorns is a strategic card game about everyone’s two favorite things: Destruction and Unicorns!
You are head of a family in an Italian city-state, a city run by a weak and corrupt court. You need to manipulate, bluff and bribe your way to power. Your object is to destroy the influence of all the other families, forcing them into exile. Only one family will survive…
In Coup, you want to be the last player with influence in the game, with influence being represented by face-down character cards in your playing area.
Go down in the dungeon. Kill everything you meet. Backstab your friends and steal their stuff. Grab the treasure and run.
Admit it. You love it.
Munchkin, Warhammer Age of Sigmar
The Eight Realms of Age of Sigmar form a new battleground for Munchkin players to explore in Munchkin: Warhammer – Age of Sigmar — and by “explore”, we mean kill monsters and take their stuff, obviously.
Exploding Kittens is a kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette. Players take turns drawing cards until someone draws an exploding kitten and loses the game. The deck is made up of cards that let you avoid exploding by peeking at cards before you draw, forcing your opponent to draw multiple cards, or shuffling the deck.
